Ringing in the New Year
Alexander felt left out in the broken bone department so he fractured his wrist ice skating on December 30th. He ended up in a cast for a few weeks but his break was fortunately his left hand. He had a Star Wars birthday party and Kyle bravely took too many boys to see the new Star Wars movie. They came back for a sleep over and no one slept. He has a great bunch of friends in West Virginia.
Kyle and I went skiing and I didn't die, which was a great accomplishment.
We started the boys in karate with an amazing instructor. He is phenomenal. The boys loved it and learned a lot about being better people not just kicking and punching.
We got an epic snow storm with about 20" in 24 hours which was the start of our 8 days out of school the next few weeks.
We had a fun playgroup at the ice rink. The little guys had a blast playing on the ice. Which is good because we found out in January that we would have an opportunity to move to Finland.
It was sooner than expected and not at all the location we would have guessed but after much thought and research we said yes and the crazy relocation process started.
