Circus and Snow

We came up to Huntsville last Friday night to spend some time with the grandparents and started our trip off with a trip to the circus. It was and is the greatest show on earth. There were clowns and acrobats and elephants and tigers, performing dogs and a couple shot across the arena from a giant cannon. Did you know elephants can stand on their heads? Alexander loved it. He seemed to have sensory overload with all that was going on. Both boys were dancing to the music. I thought Alexander would sit for a while then get bored with it but he loved it and was fantastic for the whole show. Benjamin--when he was awake--seemed to be taking it all in as well. (Only my child could sleep through the circus.) We had cotton candy and popcorn and got the flashing twirly light thing. It was great. I recommend going if you have the chance. Thanks mom and dad for taking us.

Sunday we woke up to snow--real snow--in Alabama. We had about an inch but it was enough to let Alexander play in and throw snowballs. I took him to the window to look outside when he woke up. I asked him if he knew what that white stuff was and he said "Yeah, that is snow. That means we are going to get cold." We let Benjamin eat some (not the yellow kind of course) since he seems to experience everything in this world with his mouth.

Alexander really likes Grandpa's new dog.
We have had a good time visiting and have had a chance to catch up with old friends. It will be nice to be home again though to see Kyle. Hopefully it will finally be spring when we get home and we can start our first ever attempt at a garden. If you have any tips or suggestions, please let me know.
