This was our first Christmas by ourselves. We enjoyed the chance to stay home and just lay low. Kyle was off work most of the time the kids were home. The big boys got 2DS's, Isaac got his beloved big fire truck and Zachary got a scentsy stuffed giraffe. Then loads and loads of other things from parents and grandparents. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and sipping hot chocolate.
We did the 12 Days of Christmas for our neighbors who were so fun. They wrote a little story about all the stuff we gave them and left gifts for their Christmas Elves the last night we took stuff. They remind us of Kyle's grandparents.
We ended the year and started the new one with 5 families from the ward. We are grateful to be here in West Virginia, in this house, meeting new people and seeing new things. We are especially grateful for our wonderful boys and the joy they bring into our lives.
