The summer started off with Primary BOOT Camp. Basically our own vacation bible school. We had crafts, singing, lessons and of course physical training. The primary kids seemed to really enjoy it.
We then headed to Alabama and spent 3 weeks with grandparents. We went fishing, to parks, saw dinosaurs, visited Karli in Nashville and went to the science museum, swam, visited our Montgomery friends and saw BJ and Michelle and their kids. Alexander started off the trip speeding down mom and dad’s hill and crashing on his bike. (We are still working to get past that fear and ride again.) Then he got really dehydrated on day and turned gray and so lethargic he basically passed out. SCARED me to death. Fortunately after some watermelon and ice pops he seemed back to his usual self. We had a good time visiting but sure missed Kyle. He came one weekend and spent 48 hours with us.
Then we came back home for 4th of July Fireworks.
Since then we have been trying to keep cool, so we have done a lot of staying inside or playing in the water outside. And making attempts to keep Isaac out of things.
School starts in two short weeks so we are trying to make the most of it.
